SubhanAllah (Glory be to God), I didn't expect my that I would have this many inquiries on my pieces so soon! But hey, I'm not complaining, lol. I just gotta keep up with the pace of things. I hope that Allah (God) blesses my little business. I really have been enjoying my time making these works of art. It's been a journey in rediscovering myself and my love for art. And knowing that other people share this love, is just great, Alhamdulillah (All Thanks and Praise belongs to Allah) .Thank you to everyone, who has given me, words of encouragement, advice, love, and your business :)
Here are some of the henna vids that inspired me. Oh, and if the music annoys you on some of these vids the just mute it and keep watching, that's what I did ;)
Getting started has been hard. I just don't really know where to begin. So, I'm just doing the best I can, with what I have. I got started using henna on myself first, then just got sucked into a world of henna, lol. I bought some henna cones while on a trip in the Caribbean last year. I was always interested to try doing henna but I was a little intimidated by it for some reason. Anywayz... When I got home from that trip, I watched a couple of videos, on Youtube, by Youtubers such as FreeHandMehndi, HennaSooq, and aishwaryamelia . All of them had tutorials for different henna designs and such. I tried them out on myself, and I found that I really liked henna. Then, I started getting more into learning about how to make my own henna, and henna cones. After I did that, I stared watching more videos on how to use henna on wooden boxes, candles, canvases, glass, etc, from youtubers such as HennaByBrenna, HennaSooq, Henna Glitz and Hiral Henna. I was inspired by all of them to do what I am doing today. I've always been an artist. My mother, father and other family members and friends, have always been supportive of my talent and I thank Allah (God) for that. I live a life of love and all my works of art are made with love. Alhamdulillah (All praise be to God). Peace.
