When I first got into henna (which has now been a year ago, wow!) I watched Youtube videos and learned many different styles of henna and the basic elements of those styles. It was so cool and calming watching people do henna and it was just as fun to do henna myself.
I like to just let my creativity flow when I am doing henna. 99% of the time I don't plan out what design I am going to do, I just do what feels right. Also, when I just let the henna flow, it's almost like a surprise at the end like, "wow this actually turned out pretty nice". I found I do my best work off the top of my head, lol. I mean, people love things that are original, right, lol.
I look at henna as more than just the stain that you get at the end. I look at it as an experience. The cooling feeling of the henna paste on your skin, the pleasant scent of essential oils and henna, and that feeling of being pampered. So let that henna flow guys! You'll only get better from here :)
Oh, and Beleza Artistica now has a Youtube channel. Keep your eye out for new videos and projects. Thanks everyone.
What's up everyone! It's been a little while since I've blogged. But nonetheless, here I am, yay!!! I just decided to take a little bit of a break to take care of family business, because even though I love doing henna and being creative with my art, Family comes first.
I'm doing a bit of tweaking to the site, updating things, trying to keep it fresh. I've been working on some new boxes and canvas bags. I will have pictures up soon. I also have some more projects coming soon.
I have lots of ideas that I plan on implementing in the near future. Hopefully 2014 will be a fun and productive year for Beleza Artistica!
2013 has been a good year for Beleza Artistica. I've sold a few boxes, have do a few henna parties, events and have even participated in an exhibit at Regis University. I'm very grateful for all these opportunities that I have had to get Beleza Artistica out there. But more importantly I'm grateful for everyone's support. Thanks Guys :)
I'm gonna try to keep the good stuff coming. Keep your eye out for new projects, henna designs and more!
